College Transfer Curricula
A student may transfer his or her credits earned in the College Transfer Curricula to other institutions of higher learning after graduation from Lake Land. If a student does satisfactory work in one of these curricula for two years, he or she will be able to enter the senior college of his or her choice with junior status, as specified in the Illinois Board of Higher Education Articulation Compact. This agreement is in effect for students entering an associate or baccalaureate degree-granting institution as a first-time freshman in summer 1998 or thereafter.
Caution: Requirements differ from one institution to another. The student should refer to the catalog of the four-year university to which he or she plans to transfer and consult with a member of the college counseling staff prior to registering for the courses he or she selects. Examples of model programs are listed on the following pages.
Some College Transfer Curricula are listed below with a sample program model on the following pages. See your academic advisor or Counseling Services for those College Transfer Program models not listed.
