Yolanda Cox, RDH BA
Yolanda graduated from the University of Cincinnati in dental hygiene in 2001. After 3 years working in private practice, she joined the Heartland Dental family. She has a strong passion for continuing education, which has attributed to her professional growth journey. While at Heartland, Yolanda has worked in several capacities: clinically as a dental hygienist, coaching others as a lead hygiene mentor, and clinical educator covering topics such as preventatives, periodontal therapy, ergonomics, leadership, and laser dentistry. Her current role is Doctor Training Developer which involves the development and execution of blended learning programs for 1400+ supported doctors within the organization covering such topics as leadership, oral surgery, implants, aesthetics, prosthodontics, sedation, and her favorite…laser dentistry.
Yolanda enjoys traveling with her husband Richard, coaching track and field, and cheering her daughter Mika on as a track athlete at the University of Iowa, which is also Yolanda’s alma mater.
