Earlier this month, the Lake Land College Softball Team members raised funds for the annual Sarah Bush Lincoln Health System’s Heart Walk. “We were able to collect $800.00 in donations and would like to thank everyone on campus who helped support us in this worthwhile endeavor,” Laker Coach and Athletic Director Denny Throneburg said.
Coach Throneburg was the speaker for the event where he and the Softball Team led the walkers in the Heart Walk around the interior of the Cross County Mall. The team members also handed out the door prizes and assisted in clean up after the event.
