Lake Land College Adult Ed offers free computer classes to boost career building skills

The Lake Land College Adult Education Center is offering two new basic computer classes at no cost to participants.
 
Beginning Monday, April 7, a career building skills class will be offered which focuses on writing and formatting cover letters and resumes, completing online job applications and an overview of the Microsoft Office Suite. This class will meet on Mondays from 3 – 5 p.m. and will run until Monday, May 12. 
 
Beginning Friday, April 11, an introduction to Microsoft Excel will be held from 3 - 5 p.m. and will run until Friday, May 16. 
Both classes will be held at the Adult Education Center, 1617 Lake Land Blvd., Mattoon. 
 
Each class is limited to 10 students.  Interested individuals should contact the Adult Education Center at (217) 235-0361 for more information or to register.
