Financial Aid Application Process

Completing the FAFSA

To apply for both Federal and State aid, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Financial Aid Application Process
The FAFSA must be completed, signed, and mailed as instructed anytime after January 1st, and must include the following:

08/09 Award Year - Fall 2008, Spring 2009, Summer 2009

1. Information from 2007 parent(s)/guardian U.S. tax return for dependent students.
2. Information from the 2007 U.S. student tax return.
3. Lake Land College listed as the institution the student plans to attend.

Filing the FAFSA Electronically

You may be able to apply electronically from your home computer or from a computer at a central location like your high school, your local public library, or your local educational opportunity center using FAFSA Express.

Title IV Code
A Title IV code must be placed on the FAFSA in order for the Office of Financial Aid to receive the information contained on your application. Lake Land College Title IV code is 007644.
