We offer a complimentary pick-up service from one of the following three airports: University of Illinois Willard Airport – Savoy, IL (CMI); Lambert-St. Louis Airport – St. Louis, MO (STL); and Indianapolis International Airport – Indianapolis, IN (IND) on designated days prior to the start of each semester. We DO NOT offer pick up service from Chicago O’Hare Airport.
To request an airport pick-up, please email international@lakelandcollege.edu with your arrival airport, date and time. Your arrival or departure date must fall within the scheduled pick-up dates and locations.
Topics covered during orientation: English placement testing, ACCUPLACER testing, registration, health insurance, banking, student life, immigration rules, and more. During orientation, you will meet with an academic counselor and register for classes. All new international students are required to attend this important orientation.
Housing arrangements should be made prior to your arrival. The International Studies Program can assist you with determining which housing option is best for you. We suggest students arrange to live at Lake Land Living Apartments due to its proximity to campus. For this apartment complex, you must submit housing forms and a deposit of 5 months rent plus security deposit prior to arrival. Please contact international@lakelandcollege.edu for more information on how to reserve a room at Lake Land Living Apartments. Basic furniture is provided, but students will need to provide their own kitchen utensils, bed linens, etc. Students planning on purchasing a car upon arrival may choose to live elsewhere in the area.

Lake Land College bills are posted in your Laker Hub on July 1 for the fall semester and following registration for the spring and summer terms. You may pay tuition and fees in cash, by check or bank card online or at the Accounting Office in the Luther Student Center. The College accepts VISA and MasterCard for tuition and fees payment. Tuition and fees are due in full by the published due date.
