Do you need help creating a useful resume to use when applying for a job? If so, this class is for you. It will cover creation of a professional and accurate resume detailing your qualifications and abilities. When the class is finished, you will have a completed resume that you can take and use immediately. It will also include useful tips on interviewing and how you can best sell yourself to a prospetive employer. Class will also include useful tips and training on Microsoft Word 2010.

Using a specialized app & game development tool, students will explore the world of web-based (HTML5) mobile apps. In addition to learning the basics of mobile app design and game development, you will also see firsthand how the world of App publishing functions. Student-created apps will be accessible on a private site and can be played on any mobile device or computer. No prior experience is necessary and students do not need to own a smartphone or tablet to take the class. Student will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. This class is for students who enjoy learning about pioneer crafts and activities mentioned or illustrated in Laura Wilder Ingalls Little House books. Students will make a nine patch, a button necklace, and a yarn doll. They will also make butter and yeast bread. In addition, they will also learn more about Laura Ingalls Wilder, her family and where she lived. Ages 6-11
