What should I do 1st?
Submit "Intent to Enroll Form" to LLC
Now that I've applied to LLC, what do I need to send Admissions and Records?
An official copy of:
  • final High school transcripts with graduation date OR
  • GED transcripts, AND
  • Any college transcripts
  • request a transcript evaluation from LLC
Where can I find my user name and password?
To access your user ID and password, visit the IRIS Homepage and choose the option Account Information. Choose "What's My User ID?" and fill in the information accordingly. If you are still experiencing difficulties please contact our admissions office at 217-234-5434.
Do I need to take a placement test?
  • Complete the LLC placement test or submit your ACT scores.
  • As a non-degree seeking student, you are not required to take our placement test unless you plan to take math, reading or English courses.
  • In lieu of taking the exam, you may send your ACT scores to LLC online at
  • Exemption from the reading requirement may be obtained if you have earned 30 hours of college coursework in good standing from a regionally accredited college or university. To obtain this waiver, you may have an official transcript sent to the LLC admissions office.

    How do I register for classes?*
    Get your Student ID*
    After enrollment and before you pick up your textbooks.
    Where do I pay my bill?
    Pay for your courses when your bill is posted. Bills will not be mailed out, but instead will be available online. To locate your bill log into your HUB account and look under the Quick Links heading on the right side of the screen. Choose the option "View Account and Make Payments." Bills may also be paid in person or by phone. If you decide not to attend classes, you must drop them or be responsible for your bill.
    Where do I pick-up my Rental Books?
    You must have your LLC Student ID card and textbook list (print from HUB) in order to obtain your books. For book pick up times, click on the link to the left.
    When do classes start?
    Click on the link to the left for important dates and class cancellations.
    Research Academic Support Services?
    Services provided by the tutoring and reading center, Office of Student Accommodations and TRiO. Soon after enrollment, click on the link to the left for further information.
