Summer classes begin Tuesday, June 10.

Once classes begin you only have 2 days to add a class. The LAST DAY to add classes is Wednesday, June 11. (Students may add evening courses prior to their second class meeting.)

If you have: Only on campus classes or Both on campus and extension center classes:

  • Pick up your books at the Lake Land College Bookstore.
  • June 4-5 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • June 9-12 & 16 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Bring Student ID and Textbook List. See Textbook List printing instructions at www.lakelandcollege.edu/bookstore.
  • Only Extension Centers (including Kluthe) Classes:

  • Books delivered to classroom first day if registered by center’s registration date. A second delivery will be made within the first two weeks of classes.
  • After second week, books picked up at the Lake Land College Bookstore Bring Student ID and Textbook List. See Textbook List printing instructions

Student ID Cards:

  • Required for all students.
  • Available at the Lake Land College Bookstore during normal hours or during special extension center hours.

Payment of Tuition and Fees

Bills will be mailed to the address the student currently has on file in the Admissions and Records Office. Students who need a bill sent to another address must contact the Accounting Office. Students who choose not to attend classes after registering are responsible for dropping their classes. Students who do not drop their classes by the specified dates listed below are responsible for full payment. For refund policy, see pages 23 and 24 of the current catalog.

Students may pay tuition and fees by cash, check or bank card at the Accounting Office in the Student Center. The College accepts Visa and MasterCard only. Students who have received a bill may submit their credit card information on their billing statement and return it to the Accounting Office or pay online. Students who have not received a bill or do not know the amount due can call (217) 234-5214.

Financial Aid 2007-2008

ALSO, it is still not too late to apply for Federal (Title IV) financial aid programs. For academic year 2007-2008 the deadline for the PELL Grant is June 30, 2008. Financial Aid application forms for academic year 2007-2008 are available at the financial aid office or online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Financial Aid 2008-2009

Students who have already applied for financial aid for the 2007-2008 award year should complete a 2008-2009 “Renewal application” online at www.fafsa.edu.gov. For new applicants, financial aid application forms for the 2008-2009 academic year are available in the Financial Aid office in January. Continuing students are reminded that the deadline for priority (full-year) consideration for the 2008-2009 Illinois Monetary Award Program (MAP) is August 15, 2008. First time applicants are reminded that the deadline for priority (full-year) consideration is September 30, 2008. (Subject to change due to Illinois General Assembly Appropriations).
