Pre-Veterinary Medicine (AA.PVET)

The Pre-Veterinary Medicine major is designed for those students who are planning to transfer to a university such as the University of Illinois to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a pre-veterinary medicine concentration or seek early admission to a College of Veterinary Medicine. This major can also be used to meet requirements for the pre-veterinary medicine concentration at Eastern Illinois University. This is a sample list of major requirements. The associate in science degree requires the completion of 64 credit hours. The sample course sequence below includes the required 64 credit hours plus additional courses recommended for this major.
