Human Services-Business (AAS.HSP.BUS) |
The Human Services-Business area of concentration is for students interested in working at agencies that provide financial assistance, hospitality, and literacy programs, etc. Classroom training and field experience prepare graduates of the Human Services program to provide greatly needed services to people who require assistance. Upon completion of this program, students can either go directly to work or transfer to a University. To be eligible for the field experience the following must be completed: 30 semester hours of the required curriculum, 2.0 GPA, Foundations of Human Services HSP103 and Social Welfare HSP 122. This program of study can lead to a bachelor's degree in family and consumer science, sociology, psychology, health studies or social work. Students should consult with an advisor during their first year regarding specific transfer curricula and electives course work to facilitate a transfer. Program requirements may change over time. Specific degree/graduation requirements are determined by a degree audit. |
