The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is increasing the number of Hot Mix Asphalt and Portland Cement Concrete Quality Management contracts. These contracts require that industry be responsible for sampling, testing and documenting for specification compliance (Quality Control), and IDOT be responsible for random monitoring testing (Quality Assurance).
An integral part of this quality management program is the training of both industry and IDOT employees. Lake Land College will provide the necessary training courses for the Department’s Quality Management Program.

Until all three classes are passed, your PCC Level II certificate will be held by Lake Land College. However, the classes do not need to be taken in any particular order.
Tuition fees will be refunded 100 percent under the following conditions:
No refund/credit/transfer will be authorized for withdrawals made after the respective drop period. Additionally, no refund/credit/transfer will be issued for the following reasons:
Cell phones and beepers are a constant distraction and will not be permitted in the classroom.
Reservations must be made via phone and cannot be made online, via email or by fax. To make reservations, contact Kathy Willenborg, with Lake Land College IDOT Quality Management at (217) 234-5285 and reserve the number of seats you need in each class. When reservations are made, a registration packet will be sent out via email or US Postal Service. Included in the packet will be:
Course Material will not be sent out in advance. However, if you are wanting to look at material before class, the IDOT Training Manuals will be available in PDF format, as they are updated.
All registration forms and payment must be received three weeks prior to the first day of class. Any reserved seats not registered and paid for three weeks prior to the start of the class will automatically be cancelled, without notice, and reassigned to other students.
Method of payment accepted; Check, Money Order, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. There will be a 2.5% service fee applied to any credit card transaction.
Anyone registering for CET 035, PCC Level I-IDOT only must provide a copy of their current ACI card at the time of registration.
