Grant Writing 101
Grants may be a great way to get your pet project or program off the ground. But is it really as simple as saying, Hey, I\'m going to write a grant! The answer? Maybe! In this practical session, we will consider whether, when, why, and how to begin writing grant proposals of all sizes. Participants will learn about different types of grant funders, the core components of a grant application, how to work within their organization to find the information they need, and how to build and manage relationships with funders. Participants will have time to ask as many questions as necessary. Best of all, participants will have a much better idea of whether grants are a good fit for their school, nonprofit or agency. This course is designed for nonprofit employees and board members who have limited or no experience with grant writing. Please consider one of our more advanced courses (Grant Research or Grant Proposal Development) if you have some experience with grants.Cost: $99.00
