Auto Mechanic I (CRT.AUTO)

This program prepares students with entry-level skills and knowledge of basic maintenance, electricity, engine and vehicle management systems, engine repair and brake systems needed in the automotive repair industry. Students gain valuable hands on knowledge to prepare them for a career as an automotive technician as well as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification. Instruction is provided by ASE certified instructors with a shop/lab that is equipped with modern equipment. Lab manual expense is approximately $340. A list of recommended tools can be obtained from counselors or automotive instructors. Program requirements may change over time. Specific degree/graduation requirements are determined by a degree audit.
