Analytical Geometry and Calculus I
MAT-241Differential and integral calculus of elementary functions of one variable, such as polynomial, rational, radical, trigonometric, inverse trigonometric, exponential and logarithmic functions, will be covered. Applications include rates of change, optimization, curve sketching and area. A graphing calculator is required. Ask instructor for calculator recommendations.
ANT-200The course provides an introduction to cultural and physical anthropology. Human and animal behavior is studied by using the comparative method. Some of the topics covered are: religion, magic, kinship, sex roles, human evolution, race, archeology and primates.
