The Dental Hygiene Program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a career as a Registered Dental Hygienist. The program provides experience in a clinical setting on-site that is open to the public. The clinic offers students a wide variety of patient treatments and experiences. Skills that focus on patient education, prevention of oral diseases and dental hygiene treatment are emphasized. Please be prepared for extended appointment times.

November – Free teeth cleaning for Veterans. National Military Appreciation Month.
We do not offer childcare for patients while they get their teeth cleaned. For children 6 years and older, parent and child appointments can be scheduled at the same time. If the patient is 5 years or younger, their appointment will have to be scheduled for a different day.
Lake Land College Dental Hygiene Bloodborne Pathogens Policy
Lake Land College dental hygiene students provide dental hygiene services only. It is the patient’s responsibility to see their dentist yearly for comprehensive diagnoses and dental care.
