I enjoy any type of renovation and remodeling project. Along with my husband Brian, we are completely renovating a 1950's cottage on Lake Mattoon. If I'm not tearing down walls or painting, I enjoy spending time with my 4 children and 6 grandchildren camping and boating.

I enjoy teaching at Lake Land College due to the priority of learning that is offered to each and every student. From the instructors, counselors, admission and records staff, everyone of these individuals is dedicated to the success of our students. Lake Land College has provided a caring enviornment for those of us that love to experience the joy of making a difference.
As a salon business owner/operator of over 30 years, I have gained the prerequisite and transferable skills required for this position. My education, teaching experience along with my salon business background have enable me to acquire supervisory skills, as well as communication skills that are critical for the position of Director of Cosmetololgy and Esthetics at Lake Land College. My dedication and loyalty to Lake Land College is one I have taken seriously and will continue to do so through research and developement for our Cosmetology and Esthetics curriculum.
As an instructor at Lake Land College, I have volunteered for SOFF, organized Veterans Day events, Senior Living Pampering Day, One Stop Christmas and Life Academy Prom.
