Programmer Analyst

Design, program, write and implement computer systems, using a variety of software including Envision, Unibasic, C#, Java, Access, Excel, Query builder, and various others.  Combine good analytical skills with solid programming techniques to create software solutions.  Understand the principles of database design and access.  Demonstrate the ability to plan, schedule, and time manage programming efforts to ensure customer requests are satisfied with assigned deadlines.  Create software solutions, which meet design specifications.  Understand and decipher customer requirements.  Participate in the assessment and design of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications. Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related major; or associates degree in information technology or related major and two to four years of relative experience, $48,628 annually, plus experience. Student Life Specialist  Full-time, 12 month position at Lake Land College.  Serves as advisor to the student newspaper and co-advisor and/or collaborator for Student Life outreach and leadership initiatives. Oversees student events and student employees.  Encourages the development of the general well-being of students within the college's co-curricular environment. Works collaboratively with immediate peers and other departmental areas to support student learning and development. Works consistently to further the college’s vision and values. Bachelor’s degree required. Coursework in college student development, higher education or counseling preferred/$40,244 annually. Director of Adult and Alternative Education

DIRECTOR OF ADULT AND ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION.  Full-time, 12 month, grant funded position.  Lake Land College.  The Director will be responsible for monitoring all aspects of the Adult and Alternative Education programs, including the administration of the Adult Education and Family Literacy (AEFL) Grant and the Truants Alternative and Optional Education Program (TAOEP) Grants. The Director has full authority to ensure that the project and institutional goals, with respect to the adult and alternative education programs, are met or exceeded and will be responsible for ensuring that all applicable grant guidelines are followed within the individual programs.  Master’s Degree in Education, College Student Personnel, Guidance and Counseling, Educational Administration, Social Work, Psychology or other related field.   At least three years of experience in a supervisory role and working with disadvantaged populations required.  Starting salary is $64,810 plus experence. COMMERCIAL DRIVER TRAINER

Part-time.  Lake Land College.  Day and evening classes in the Mattoon area.  The Commercial Driver Trainer will provide classroom and on-the-road training to individuals seeking to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).  The Trainer will assume all duties required for preparing students to pass the Secretary of State license exam.  Typical responsibilities will include classroom review of the Secretary of State CDL test manual, vehicle maneuvering techniques, over-the-road in-vehicle training, vehicle inspection, and routine vehicle maintenance.  High School Degree/GED and 3 or more years of professional over-the-road driving experience required.  CDL license required.  $18.00/hr.  Submit LLC application to:  Human Resources, 5001 Lake Land Blvd., Mattoon, IL.  61938.  Apply online www.lakelandcollege.edu  EOE/AA
