Donor Information & Database Coordinator

Reporting to the Executive Director for College Advancement, the Donor Relations and Database Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all Foundation donors, alumni and constituents. This includes acknowledging all donor gifts and pledges, coordination of emergency funds, assisting/supporting the Executive Director with stewarding current donors and corporate partners. This position has primary oversight of the donor and alumni database, ensuring all donor, alumni records have both current and accurate information, and that the information can be generated and distributed in a timely and professional manner to service the needs of the Foundation. The Donor Relations and Database Coordinator works cross-functionally in partnership with the Alumni Engagement and Special Events Coordinator to ensure that all events, programs and relationships are recorded appropriately in the database and able to be reported out with accuracy and consistency. Bachelor degree required. Experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT software preferred. Current open positions include:

  • Social Media Manager: Responsible for the Navigator’s social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Some content will include publishing story links, creating engaging captions, monitoring online polls, and more.
  • Business Manager: responsible for preparing advertising opportunities. Work with local businesses to advertise in the Navigator.
  • Copy Editor: responsible for proofreading and editing articles to ensure there are no typos, grammatical errors or AP style mistakes.
  • Reporter: responsible for going out and covering various topics in the Lake Land College community. This position requires employees to interview people, research subjects, write articles, fact check and generate story ideas.
