Researching AI & Establishing a Task Force
Strategic Project Description:
Create a supportive framework for developing and integrating AI literacy within academic programs, which will prepare faculty and students for AI advancements and ensure compliance with college policies on data/AI use.
Project Expected Impact
The taskforce efforts are aimed at exploring the academic understanding, policies and processes needed to ensure educational innovation in the rapidly evolving AI landscape. By embedding our core values of communication, innovation, and excellence into every aspect of the task force's deliberations, we are committed to transforming our educational services to remain relevant and purposeful. This initiative not only supports the college mission but also actively engages the college community in understanding and leveraging AI as a tool not as a substitute for human intellectual skills, while enhancing the learning experience, and upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical practice.
