Strategy Information

Action Plan Statement:
Enhance the current process of Institutional and Academic Assessment for continuous improvement.

Strategic Project Description:
General Education Assessment: Engage Faculty and other key stakeholder in a revamp of the current Gen Ed Assessment and incorporate employ-ability skills in CTE Programs.

Project Expected Impact
The current general education process consists of a test given in the Spring to a sample of students. The test contains key competencies that should be learned through the gen ed curriculum and is on a 4 year rotation. The current process is very outdated and doesn’t incorporate ways to measure needed changes, ensure changes are incorporated, doesn’t collect information from all instructional delivery methods or show overall improvements. Best practices should be researched and developed to meet our standards.
