For K-12 Educators
Lake Land College Ag Institutes are designed for K-12 educators like you to learn the amazing impact agriculture has on our daily lives. By touring agriculture businesses and farms, by meeting with industry professionals and by engaging in hands-on activities, you’ll gain first-hand knowledge that you can share with your students as well as lesson plans relating to state of Illinois standards.
Lake Land College Agriculture instructors Ryan Orrick and Dyke Barkley teach and organize the Ag Institute tours and stops.
For teacher recertification, you will receive 2.0 college credits, equivalent to 30 contact/CPDU hours, transcripted for each Ag Institute!
The cost for Ag Institutes is $250.

This two day intensive institute will introduce you to agriculture in the Indianapolis region. Just like Ag I materials, transportation and lunch will be provided.
