Lisa has been employed with Lake Land College for over 30 years. During her tenure with the College she has worked in various offices gaining knowledge of the complete workings of Curriculum, Registration and Data Process and Institutional Research. In May of 2019 Lisa accepted the newly created position of Director of Data Analytics which was aligned with the College’s Strategic Plan to enhance data-driven decision making. Her passion to streamline and automate processes to make someone’s job easier is the driving force behind her work ethics and the success she has with the College.

Lisa is a 1991 graduate of Lake Land College.  She furthered her education and received her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and her masters form the University of Illinois – Springfield

 

Lynn Breer, Ph.D

Lynn has twenty-four years of research experience. Lynn spent ten of those years focused on public health related research issues and for the past fourteen years has focused her efforts in higher education and instruction. She is skilled in facilitating multi-disciplinary research, grant writing and management, managing large data sets, and analyzing and reporting data as well as collaborating with government, academic, and community based organizations.

Lynn earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Eastern Illinois University and completed her Ph.D in Community Psychology from Michigan State University. She is also a certified DACUM (Developing a Curriculum) facilitator.

Lisa has 15 years of experience working in higher education as an assessment professional and instructor.  She is skilled in communication, relationship building, instructional design, curriculum development, and accreditation.  Lisa also has over 25 years’ experience working in the health care industry.

A passion for student success is what drives Lisa and her work in course, program, general education, institutional, and co-curricular assessments as well as program review. 

Lisa earned an A.A.S. in Marketing, Certificate in Management and a Certificate in Professional Sales from Lake Land College.  She furthered her education at Eastern Illinois University to earn a B.A. and M.A. in Communication Studies.  Lisa also holds certifications as a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) facilitator and DACUM (Developing a Curriculum) facilitator.

Bethany (Beth) Craig received her Ph.D. degree at Illinois State University in Higher Education Administration. Her research area is supporting adult students as they complete their higher education goals, while balancing careers, children, and many other life responsibilities. Prior to coming to Lake Land College, Beth worked in various areas of continuing education, supporting health professionals and helping to take face-to-face degree programs into online formats. Beth enjoys writing grants that support Lake Land College students with their postsecondary education goals. She sees each day as a continuous learning experience. As an alumna of Lake Land College, she is passionate about providing opportunities that will aid students in enhancing good lives through educational experiences.

Beth is also a certified DACUM (Developing a Curriculum) facilitator.
