Welding

The Welding programs at Lake Land provide you with hands-on experiences that prepare you for welding and manufacturing fields. In the welding lab, you will develop skills in the following areas: safety, metal identification, oxy-acetylene welding, metal cutting processes, shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding and blueprint reading.

High Demand Field

The Welding programs will prepare you for careers in a number of positions within the field of welding. According to OnetoOnline job statistics, employment of welders, cutters, solderers, and brazers is projected to grow 6 percent from 2016 to 2026. Click here for information on career options.
