It’s easy to ask questions and really learn the material when you’re in smaller classes and you know your teachers on a personal level. College can be intimidating, especially if you don’t know what you want to do. Lake Land was a perfect start for me.”

Layna is the owner of Bond and Associates LLC with American Family Insurance, operating two offices in Illinois. She attributes Lake Land College for her success in agriculture and insurance, allowing her to give back to her community and industry.

Chandra said making the effort to take an interest in others’ wellbeing is a quality she experienced in the teaching at Lake Land College and is one she could continue to utilize in her everyday life and career as an occupational therapist at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur. Read more.
