Surgical Technology
The Surgical Technology Program prepares students with didactic knowledge and clinical training requires to perform as a member of the surgical team. As valuable members of the health care team, Surgical Technologists give high priority to surgical asepsis and patient safety. Students are prepared to assist surgeons in the operative setting through application of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, professionalism, and critical thinking skills.
