The Lake Land College Traffic Safety Program offers a DUI course in Mattoon and Charleston. This is a one time, 4-hour course. This course was designed specifically for Coles County, but may qualify for DUI’s in other counties.

Registration forms and fees should be turned into to the Traffic Department at the Coles County courthouse. Once your registration is received by them, it will be forwarded on to the Traffic Safety Program Specialist. You will then be registered in the next available class. A confirmation letter will be sent to you that will include the date, time, location and directions for the course. If you are unable to attend the class date that you are scheduled for, a $25 rescheduling fee will apply. Once you have completed the course, the Traffic Safety Program will send confirmation of your completion to the Coles County courthouse and you will also receive a certificate of completion in the mail to keep for your records.
