Faculty statement/Why do you like teaching at Lake Land College?

The Basic Nursing Assistant Program (BNA) is a great introduction into healthcare.  Students can use this knowledge/foundation for multiple paths in the healthcare field (i.e. nursing, medical assisting, therapy).  I enjoy being a part of the transition...from student to colleague.

I started my career as a CNA, and still consider it a valuable part of my tenure as a nurse.
