Computer Science (AA.CS)
The Computer Science program provides students with a strong foundation in programming, problem-solving and computational thinking while introducing essential concepts such as data structures, algorithms, computer systems and software development. Students develop practical skills in modern programming languages, object-oriented design and mathematical reasoning to prepare for careers in technology or to transfer into bachelor's programs at universities. Graduates are equipped with both theoretical knowledge and applied experience to pursue opportunities in software development, data analysis, networking and related fields.This program follows Math Pathway #4. Math requirements for a specific major may vary from one institution to another.
