Psychology (AA.PSY)
Psychology is a transfer program within the Social Science/Education Division. This program focuses on the scientific study of human behavior and mental processes, including how individuals think, feel and act across a variety of contexts. Students in this program examine psychological theories, research methods and empirical findings to better understand behavior at the individual and group level. The program provides a foundation for continued study in psychology and related fields by emphasizing scientific reasoning, research literacy and the application of psychological principles to real-world settings.This program follows Math Pathway #1. Math requirements for specific majors may vary from one institution to another.
