Mechanical-Electrical Technology (AAS.MET)

Mechanical Electrical Technology (MET) program is designed to give the student a wide background in mechanical and electrical skills. These skills and knowledge include welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, CAD, CNC, HVAC, AC/DC circuits, ladder logic, motors and PLCs. Technical electives are incorporated into this degree to allow the student to focus more concentration in an area of their interest (such as CAD or PLC's). Graduates will be prepared for many different kinds of technical jobs for today and the future. Some of these employment opportunities include: CAD operator/designer, CNC operator/programmer, HVAC technician, maintenance technician, industrial electrician and service technician. A graduate with a MET degree will be prepared for high paying technical jobs that are available locally and nationwide.

Program requirements may change over time. Specific degree/graduation requirements are determined by a degree audit.
