Where can I go for educational planning and registration?
Navigate allows students to build an academic plan for their entire career at Lake Land College. Students can also register for classes in Navigate. Access Navigate in your Laker Hub using the Navigate button.
What is a degree audit?
A degree audit determines courses needed to complete a specific degree or certificate program. This official evaluation includes any applicable credits that have been earned at Lake Land College, courses transferred in from another college or university, and military credit that applies to the student’s current program of study. Request a degree audit in your Laker Hub > Student IRIS > Degree Audit/Apply for Graduation > Degree Audit or through our Transcript Evaluation page.
What can I do at Career Services?
Get help with your resume, cover letter, and interview techniques from Career Services and become familiar with Lake Land College’s system for posting job notices, such as the platform Handshake.
How do I start on the transfer process?
Lake Land College has transfer agreements and guides with many institutions! Check out our Transfer Agreements and Transfer Guides to see what fits best for you.
How do I apply for graduation?
As you begin your last semester of your degree or certificate, you will need to file an Apply to Graduate. This can be done in your Laker Hub > Student IRIS > Degree Audit/Apply to Graduate> Apply to Graduate or in person at the Admissions and Records Office. Check the Laker Calendar for deadlines to file each semester. More information on graduation can be found on our graduation checklist.
How do I change my major?
Use this link to change your major or complete the form in your Laker Hub account through Student Iris > Demographics > Change of Major.
