What is the Laker Profile Username/Password?

The Laker Profile is used by prospective students to complete an Application and/or register for events. To log into your Laker Profile, use the personal email on your account and the password you created. To reset your password or if you experience difficulties logging in, call 217-234-5434.

How can I add/correct my Social Security Number?

If you did not include your social security number or included an incorrect social security number on your Application, you should complete the Social Security Number Correction form to prevent issues with the processing of financial aid and/or your academic record. Return this completed form to the Admissions and Records office by mail, fax, or in-person. Do not email this form.

How do I update my name?

Change or update your legal name through the Request to Change Legal Name form. You will also need a government issued photo ID or driver’s license with your new legal name when submitting the form to the Admissions and Records office. Change your chosen/preferred name through the Chosen Name Request form. Requesting a chosen/preferred name does not change your legal name on official academic records such as transcripts and diplomas but does change your first name on most records used for college purposes only.

How do I update my residency?

You can change your residency status with the College at the Admissions and Records office. You will need to bring a valid government issued photo ID or driver’s license and a copy of your lease or piece of postal mail that includes your in-district address to complete the process.

Where can I get my student id?

Stop by the Bookstore or Kluthe Center during normal business hours with a valid picture ID (i.e. driver’s license or passport) to get your Lake Land Student ID made. There is a $10 fee for replacement IDs.

What is my Laker Hub username/password?

The Laker Hub is used by admitted and current students to access their Laker Mail, Student IRIS, campus announcements, important dates, and much more! To log into your Laker Hub, use the log in information that was included in your welcome packet or click on the “What’s my username?”/”What’s my password?” links on the log in screen. How do I update my address?

Change or update your address through the Laker Hub > Student IRIS > Demographics > Address Change.

How do I update my gender?

Change or update your legal gender marker through the Request to Change Legal Gender Marker form. You will also need a government issued photo ID/driver’s license, revised birth certificate, or court order with your new legal gender marker when submitting the form to the Admissions and Records office. Change your chosen/preferred gender marker through the Chosen Gender Marker Request form. Requesting a chosen/preferred gender marker does not change your legal gender marker on official academic records but does change your gender marker on most records used for college purposes only.

How do I opt-in/opt-out of text notifications?

Opt-in or out of text notifications for class cancellations, SAB event information, and general college announcements from the College through the Laker Hub > Student IRIS > Communication > Text Notifications.
