C.E.F.S. Head Start

WIC (Women, Infants, and Children)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program is a supplemental nutrition program which provides nutritional assessment, education, and health screenings to clients who are pregnant, postpartum or breastfeeding as well as infants and children up to age five.  WIC refers its clients to area service providers for medical, social, and developmental intervention.  Located at the Christian County Health Department:  902 W. Community Support Systems – Child and Family Connections

Identifies and serves young children who are experiencing developmental delays.  Developmental screenings are conducted and, if necessary, developmental therapy services are carried out in the client’s home.
