Central Illinois Foodbank
The Central Illinois Foodbank is the primary food source for food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and other programs working to feed the hungry. The Central Illinois Foodbank serves 21 central Illinois counties, including Adams, Bond, Brown, Cass, Christian, Effingham, Fayette, Greene, Jefferson, Logan, Macon, Macoupin, Marion, Menard, Montgomery, Morgan, Pike, Sangamon, Schuyler, Scott and Shelby. The Foodbank provides comprehensive lists of food pantry locations by county on their website.
Eastern Illinois Foodbank
The Eastern Illinois Foodbank is the primary food source for food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and other programs working to feed the hungry. The Foodbank also offers events such as foodmobiles (mobile food pantries) and pop-up pantries for veterans. The Eastern Illinois Foodbank serves 17 eastern Illinois counties, including Champaign, Clark, Clay, Coles, Crawford, Cumberland, DeWitt, Douglas, Edgar, Ford, Iroquois, Jasper, Livingston, McLean, Moultrie, Piatt and Vermilion. The Foodbank provides comprehensive lists of food pantry locations by county on their website.
Laker Food Pantry
Located in the Luther Student Center, Lake Land College, Mattoon. Students and staff are welcome to email or call with questions, but no appointment is necessary. Students do, however, need to have their student ID or know their number. Email a request to studentwellness@lakelandcollege.edu – Phone: 217-234-5383.

SNAP – Department of Human Services
Can apply for SNAP online at: www.abe.illinois.gov – Can download application at: https://www.dhs.state.il.us/page.aspx?item=33698 and mail or return to office.
