The Dental Hygiene Program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a career as a Registered Dental Hygienist. The program provides experience in a clinical setting on-site that is open to the public. The clinic offers students a wide variety of patient treatments and experiences. Skills that focus on patient education, prevention of oral diseases and dental hygiene treatment are emphasized. Please be prepared for extended appointment times.
The clinic will be offering free sealant days for all ages this fall! Sealants are a preventive measure against cavities, and will be offered on the following dates:
November 13 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
November 20 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
All patients will be required to wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth.
Patients will need to fill out the Lake Land College COVID screening form online and enter through the Check-In station at Entrance 2.
Patients will then drive to parking lot B, Building North West, Room 116.
Patients will be required to wear their mask until the time of their sealant procedures and will be required to resume wearing it when the procedures are complete.
Lake Land College dental hygiene students provide dental hygiene services only. It is the patients responsibility to see their dentist yearly for comprehensive diagnoses and dental care.
