Alternative Education Club is a club to support students who took an alternative path of education to get to Lake Land College. We host club activities, provide networking opportunities, and offer overall support on your academic journey. The Broadcasting Club provides students an opportunity to become involved in the operation of the student ran radio station, WLKL, 89.9 FM. Through live remotes and other on-air activities, members can gain experience with both on campus and off campus activities. Students also can attend broadcast conferences, assist with various fundraising endeavors, and help with philanthropic events throughout the academic year. All students, regardless of their major, are welcome to join!

- A connection in the agriculture industry between youth organizations and the Farm Bureau.

The purpose of this club is to encourage and foster a deeper sense of community among Lake Land students through art; to promote goodwill between faculty and students, to provide a means of equal opportunity for each student to express his/her opinion (all opinions shall be heard); to participate in field trips associated with the arts; to promote the arts in the Lake Land community and abroad; to develop intellectual exchange between students on a social, technical and conceptual level concerning art and their education within the arts; to provide social activities for members of the club; to organize, curate and exhibit artwork from members of the club; to organize, curate and exhibit artwork from visiting artists/groups; and to have knowledgeable persons speak and/or demonstrate techniques in the arts.

The Future Electronics Technicians Club was established so that students could participate in activities outside the classroom, such as, trips to engineering shows, local manufacturing facilities, picnics and club projects (robot wars or electronic competitions).

The objectives of the Horticulture Club are to promote awareness of horticulture and landscaping on campus and in the community as well as to promote more interest and greater concern for the environment as it relates to modern horticulture. Projects include landscape around the West Building, field trips to trade shows and working in the College greenhouses.

This club provides students an opportunity to get involved in fund-raising and direct service activities for area agencies and groups who help others. Each semester, club members decide on the activities that they want to do as well as the agencies they will donate to. Activities can include: give-a-ways, bake sales, car washes, selling (candles, home decor, bake goods etc), donating time to schools, soup kitchens, Special Olympics etc. Past recipients include: Habitat for Humanity, Project Help, Lincoln Land Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Red Cross and many more agencies in Lake Land College district. The Human Service Club is all about helping people. All students are welcome to join.

PTK is an international honorary society for the two year college that concentrates on scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship. Students are invited to join PTK after completing 12 semester hours if they are degree seeking and have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. Members must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 of higher once they have become members.
