Active minds is a national leader for young adult mental health advocacy and suicide prevention.

Ag transfer students are provided with an opportunity to learn about four year college transfer programs and job opportunities available. Students belonging to this club are generally transfer oriented.

Alternative Education Club is a club to support students who took an alternative path of education to get to Lake Land College. We host club activities, provide networking opportunities, and offer overall support on your academic journey. All students are welcome, including but not limited to: GED/HSE, homeschooled, pathways, and non-traditional students.

The Broadcasting Club provides students an opportunity to become involved in the operation of the student ran radio station, WLKL, 89.9 FM. Through live remotes and other on-air activities, members can gain experience with both on campus and off campus activities. Students also can attend broadcast conferences, assist with various fundraising endeavors, and help with philanthropic events throughout the academic year.  All students, regardless of their major, are welcome to join!

The purpose of the club is to provide:

• A connection in the agriculture industry between youth organizations and the Farm Bureau.
• An organization that incorporates all majors and students interested in agriculture.
• Leadership, personal/professional development opportunities for those interested in information, education, and legislation in agriculture.
• A connection with the Illinois Farm Bureau organization for ensuring member retention and engagement.

This club will provide peer support and networking for student veterans and their families.

The purpose of the Cosmetology Club is to further the study and interest in the art and science of cosmetology. Various events relating to cosmetology are scheduled throughout the year.

The purpose of this club is to encourage and foster a deeper sense of community among Lake Land students through art; to promote goodwill between faculty and students, to provide a means of equal opportunity for each student to express his/her opinion (all opinions shall be heard); to participate in field trips associated with the arts; to promote the arts in the Lake Land community and abroad; to develop intellectual exchange between students on a social, technical and conceptual level concerning art and their education within the arts; to provide social activities for members of the club; to organize, curate and exhibit artwork from members of the club; to organize, curate and exhibit artwork from visiting artists/groups; and to have knowledgeable persons speak and/or demonstrate techniques in the arts.

The purpose of the Lake Land Criminal Justice Club shall be to aid in the success, attitude, and training of criminal justice majors. Membership into the Criminal Justice Club shall be open to all current Lake Land College students, faculty, and other supporters regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, and/or age.

Goals of this club include the encouragement of higher academic standards for early childhood, social activities for ECE and Family Services students, as well as to provide service through planned activities and events geared toward educating children, family and community.

This club promotes interest and greater concern for the environment by providing awareness of environmental issues on campus and in surrounding communities and by providing opportunities for concerned students to become involved in projects which will benefit the environment.

The objectives of the Future Educators of America are to promote interest in and knowledge about the teaching profession, to provide fellowship among students, faculty, and community professionals, and to provide opportunities for future educators to develop professional skills through experiential learning.

The Future Electronics Technicians Club was established so that students could participate in activities outside the classroom, such as, trips to engineering shows, local manufacturing facilities, picnics and club projects (robot wars or electronic competitions).

The objectives of the Horticulture Club are to promote awareness of horticulture and landscaping on campus and in the community as well as to promote more interest and greater concern for the environment as it relates to modern horticulture. Projects include landscape around the West Building, field trips to trade shows and working in the College greenhouses.

This club provides students an opportunity to get involved in fund-raising and direct service activities for area agencies and groups who help others. Each semester, club members decide on the activities that they want to do as well as the agencies they will donate to. Activities can include: give-a-ways, bake sales, car washes, selling (candles, home decor, bake goods etc), donating time to schools, soup kitchens, Special Olympics etc. Past recipients include: Habitat for Humanity, Project Help, Lincoln Land Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Red Cross and many more agencies in Lake Land College district. The Human Service Club is all about helping people. All students are welcome to join.

ITA is designed for students in industrial maintenance, mechanical/electrical, computer-aided design and computer integrated manufacturing technology programs. The club seeks to promote interest in the field of manufacturing through field trips and activities for students with related interests.

This club aims: to consolidate and promote a mutual understanding among international students; to promote a better understanding and stronger ties with the American community; to promote a better understanding with students and other student organizations in and around the College; and help incoming international students better adjust to life at Lake Land.

Laker Christian Fellowship (LCF) exists to help create a space for students to connect, encourage one another, and study the Bible.  Each week LCF hosts a Bible Study and coordinates other activities as schedules allow.

The Nursing Club activities center around the fundamentals of the nursing field and profession.

PTK is an international honorary society for the two year college that concentrates on scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship. Students are invited to join PTK after completing 12 semester hours if they are degree seeking and have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. Members must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 of higher once they have become members.

The Physical Therapist Assistant Club provides a mean by which PTA students can express their opinions and create a channel for networking among members. It promotes interest in the Physical Therapy field and provides social activities for the members.

Membership is open to any agriculture student. The objectives of this organization are: to provide opportunities for individual growth, leadership and career preparation among the students of agriculture; to provide an opportunity for developing leadership abilities through participation in the employment experience programs, course work, and organization activities for Lake Land College agriculture students; to provide an opportunity for Lake Land College agriculture students to participate in state and national PAS Organization leadership events and activities; to promote better student-faculty and student-student relationships; and to promote a higher scholastic standard among the students of agriculture.
