The Lake Land College student activity period is 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesdays.

August – September 2025 Events
Meet student services reps, enjoy free workshops, grab a bite from food trucks and score giveaways and prizes. Bring a friend after textbook pickup-Aug. 20-22. Fall classes start Aug. 25, with mini-sessions Aug. 25-26.
Two $1,000 scholarships are up for grabs – earn one entry by completing the Foundation Scholarship Application before Welcome Day and another by playing a game at the event. To apply, search “scholarship” on Laker Hub or visit the computer lab during Welcome Week on Thursday or Friday for application assistance.
Kick off your semester with a frank-tastic celebration! We will have games, FREE lunch, a FREE t-shirt, glitter tattoos, photo opportunities, themed prizes and countless ways to ketchup with new friends. Plus, it’s the perfect time to connect with campus clubs and grill them with your questions about getting involved. Items available while supplies last!
Learn how to get involved in clubs, events, and leadership opportunities, pick up some FREE LLC swag, cookies, make and take a diamond art project and make some new friends!
Your voice matters! Cast your vote and help shape your student government
Make a life-saving blood donation and receive a free sub, courtesy of the Student Government Association
Discover ways to give back and have your service hours noted on your transcript through our Serve Your Community Program. We will also be creating sensory relief jars for our new sensory room (or for you to take home!) as well as Kindness Cards to send to veterans and local nursing homes. Click here to get started!
We are giving out FREE LEGO kits to build or take home, providing free play with miscellaneous LEGO blocks and trying out some 3D printed puzzles that were made right here on our campus. Let’s build some fun, brick by brick! Remember to share your creations with us on social media after the event. Grab them while supplies last!
SGA is a student-elected governing board representing the student body of Lake Land College. Completed applications are due 9/9 by 4 p.m. in Student Life via the Laker Hub. Elections are held online through the Laker Hub on 9/10 and 9/11. All registered students are encouraged to vote. Let your voice be heard!
The Student Activity Board (SAB) brings free events to campus every Wednesday at 11 a.m. Being a part of the SAB is a fun way to relax, meet new people, and get involved on campus. Scan below to submit your interest, and we will reach out to you with more information.
