Why do you want to be on the Student Government Association (SGA)?
I’m stepping up because I believe every student deserves to feel heard, supported, and represented. As a young Black woman, I know how important it is to create space for ALL voices, and I’m ready to put in the work to make our campus stronger, more connected, and more inclusive.
What else would you like students to know about you?
I’m a business major, and I’ve been through a lot of changes in life and school. Those experiences really pushed me to grow, and now I want to use what I’ve learned to make a purpose for myself while also creating a safe space for other students. I want people here at Lake Land to feel supported and know they’re not alone.

To become more involved and to make a difference within Lake Land College. Also to make friends that care about the school.
What else would you like students to know about you?
I’m an athlete here at Lake Land College. I play volleyball and am a psych major.

Why do you want to be on the Student Government Association (SGA)?
I want to be a freshman delegate because I think our class deserves a strong voice from day one. I love connecting with people and bringing ideas to life—whether that’s planning fun events, helping solve problems, or just making sure we’re heard.
What else would you like students to know about you?
I’m someone who’s always down to listen and work hard for our class. Between school, cheer, and work, I’ve learned how to balance a lot and still bring good energy to the table. I want everyone to feel comfortable coming to me with ideas or concerns—no matter how big or small. At the end of the day, I’m here to make sure our voices matter and that we have some fun along the way!

Why do you want to be on the Student Government Association (SGA)?
I was very involved during my four years of high school and I would like to continue that throughout college. I enjoy being a voice for the student body, learning new skills, and meeting new people. I see myself as a leader and I would like to use that characteristic to my advantage by being a representative for Lake Land College's student body.
What else would you like students to know about you?
Outside of school I enjoy working, which is unusual to some people. I currently work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Pana Community Hospital and I absolutely love my job!

Why do you want to be on the Student Government Association (SGA)?
I am the only student from my high school attending Lake Land College, and I want to help other students who are in the same position as me. To give them more opportunities to meet people, make connections, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
What else would you like students to know about you?
I am an Ag Business Transfer student and I have been a Type 1 Diabetic for 14 years!

I played 4 sports in high school and I have wanted to join student council in junior high and high school but never could because of sports

Why do you want to be on the Student Government Association (SGA)?
I would like to join SGA because I would like our first year to be memorable! I believe every student deserves to be heard and understood, and I would like to be the voice that connects us all. Being in SGA would allow me to share everyone's ideas and work with others to make positive changes around campus!
What else would you like students to know about you?
If I'm elected to SGA, I want you to know I am always approachable and will have an open mind when listening to your ideas or concerns. I care about our class being connected so together we can all have a fun first year! Outside of SGA I like hanging out with my friends, going to the gym, and trying new foods!

Why do you want to be on the Student Government Association (SGA)?
I want to become an SGA Delegate because I want to be more involved with student life and allowing students to feel heard here at Lake Land College. Not only am I a good communicator but I am also a good advocate for trying to get students involved.
What else would you like students to know about you?
With being a freshman here I am also going through the same uncertainty and challenges that other students are going through. This could benefit other individuals and I as we can connect through some of the same aspects here at Lake Land College.
