Accounting (CRT.ACC)

 

Learn how to become an asset in any office with the Accounting certificate. This program will prepare you for entry-level positions in the accounting field. Employment opportunities exist in small businesses, large businesses, public accounting firms, industry, not-for-profit organizations and government agencies. You can also choose from a two-year degree or a one-year certificate. All courses in the Accounting certificate program count toward the associate degree. You will complete courses in financial accounting, managerial accounting, intermediate accounting, tax accounting and cost accounting. You will receive hands-on training in Microsoft Office, computerized accounting and tax preparation software. You can also complete general business courses such as Business Communications, Principles of Management, Economics, Legal Environment of Business and Statistics.
