Associate Degree Nurse (AAS.ADN)

Become an asset to your local healthcare facility through the Associate Degree Nurse program! During your three year venture in the program, you will gain valuable laboratory skills and clinical experience. The Lake Land College Nursing program is among the top three in the state. Known for extremely high standards of excellence, our caring nursing faculty have been preparing students for success for more than 30 years.
Applicants must submit an application/intent to enroll to the college and a separate application to the program. The Associate Degree in Nurse program is for those interested in becoming an RN or Registered Nurse. As an RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of medical settings: hospitals, surgery/outpatient clinics, long-term care, home health, public health departments, schools and physician offices.
Graduates make the same entry salary as a bachelor’s degree (BSN) graduate, and can take the licensing exam and work one year sooner than BSN counterparts. Many employers assist graduates in paying to continue their education. Lake Land College has agreements with several universities to complete the BSN degree 100% online.
Program graduates are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Upon successful completion of the NCLEX-RN, the graduate may apply for RN licensure.
