This program will prepare you with skills necessary for employment as a civil engineering technician with consulting engineering firms, testing laboratories, utilities and local, state and federal government agencies. Your classes will focus on skills, such as surveying, materials testing, drafting, and construction inspection that are associated with civil engineering. Experience the best of both worlds with a balanced workload between outdoor and indoor work. Surveying, field testing, construction supervision and testing are essentially outdoor work while drafting, design and laboratory testing are indoor work.
