Management (NDP.MGT)

Get a head start on your career with the Management program. This degree is made to help prepare you to own and operate your own business. It can also prepare you to work as technicians, supervisors or managers in for-profit or not-for-profit organizations.
As a graduate, you can qualify for jobs like:
Operations manager
Human resource management specialist

Hands On Experience
You will have the opportunity to intern in a business-related field to receive credit in your classes.
Program Options
Using career electives, a specialized management curriculum can be designed to meet the needs of students in such diverse areas as marketing, retailing, sales, manufacturing, construction, transportation, technology and the trades. You can choose from a two-year degree or a one-year certificate. All courses in the Management certificate program count toward the associate degree.
Transfer Options
Lake Land College has a 2+2 program with Eastern Illinois University that can lead to a bachelor’s degree in Organizational and Professional Development. Many of the courses in the Management degree count toward the Lake Land College associate degree in Business, which is a transfer program leading to a bachelor’s degree in Management or another area of business.
