Begin your journey into animal healthcare with the Pre-Veterinary Medicine program. Develop your skills by completing coursework focused in mathematics and science in addition to required general education courses. This program will prepare you for transferring to a university to earn a bachelor’s degree in animal science.

Specific suggested electives include beef and dairy production skills or been and swine artificial insemination courses. Job shadowing experiences with a licensed veterinarian are encouraged for Pre-Veterinary Medicine majors.
