Paramedical Services is an intensive program that includes classroom, skills laboratory, hospital and field clinical experiences.
Employment of emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics is projected to grow 15 percent from 2016 to 2026, much faster than the average for all occupations according to the National Bureau of Labor Statistics (bls.gov).
Paramedical Services is available as a two-year associate in applied science degree or a one-year certificate program.

“The Paramedical Services program is amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone. The instructors always stress the importance of having positive attitude and being the patient’s advocate. This always stuck out to me because I want to save lives and help people.”

“I moved down to this area from the Chicago suburbs and I have really enjoyed the Paramedical Services program. I feel I made the absolute right choice with Lake Land. I pursued Paramedical Services because I love the spontaneity of this field and that each day is different.”
