How to Install the VM Desktop Client

Note: installing the client this way allows you to connect USB devices like flash drives – the web browser client does not.

Go to the viewportal website

Click the desktop client download

Go to list of client downloads

Download the version that matches your operating system

Download the client

Run the installer

Agree to terms and install

Restart your system

Double-click the desktop shortcut

Click add server

Type in viewportal.lakelandcollege.edu and click connect

Enter your username and password

Choose the lab you want to connect to
