Translators
At Lake Land College, we are committed to meeting our students where you are. That’s why we have translator devices available in many locations on campus, and we have multiple people trained on how to use these devices. With Communication as one of our core values, it is important to us that our students feel welcomed and supported during their time with us.
These devices use Artificial Intelligence to translate speech or written language into more than 70 languages and accents. With rapid response times and touting a 98% accuracy rate, these devices aim to facilitate smooth conversation between languages with limited pauses or confusion.
