Why do you want to be on the Student Government Association (SGA)?
I want to be a Sophomore SGA Delegate because I strive to be a voice for my peers, something that I felt was often dismissed in high school. SGA grants me the opportunity to improve the college experience for everyone here at Lake Land College. Becoming a Sophomore SGA Delegate will provide me with the ability to reciprocate the support and opportunities I have received from this campus.

What else would you like students to know about you?
I would like students to know that I work hard to accomplish any goals or challenges set before, which is something I will continue as a Sophomore SGA Delegate if I am elected. I am a history major, so I hope to incorporate some of the skills I have learned within my major into SGA. I am also very creative and try to find out-of-the-box solutions.

Why do you want to be on the Student Government Association (SGA)?
I want to be a Sophomore Delegate because being a Freshman Delegate really opened my eyes. I learned how easy it was to help out on campus and what I could do to help Lake Land. I want to continue to make a difference and put in my full effort to help as many people as possible. I think after knowing what it takes to be a Freshman Delegate I will stand out as a Sophomore Delegate.

What else would you like students to know about you?
I will take being a Sophomore Delegate seriously and I want others to know that I will do what it takes to help all groups at this school.

Why do you want to be on the Student Government Association (SGA)?
A sophomore delegate to me is important for multiple reasons but most importantly connecting with new students, leading and enjoying my time here on campus making a difference. SGA has given me purpose at Lake Land and I truly feel that others should vote and apply to be apart of it as well. When I made the decision to get out of my comfort zone last year and apply it became the best decision. I hope others can learn by example and get out of their comfort zone in order to grow into new areas in life!

What else would you like students to know about you?
I am passionate about school. Academics became an outlook for me, it became something I was good at when everything around me felt like it was falling apart. I strive to be transparent about struggles and real life issues and never try to hide myself from the world. I know others often feel they don't get the opportunity to be authentically themselves and its an issue I want to work on within the college culture itself. I am grateful for life today, for Lake Land and every day that is a chance to learn something new.
