Student Government Association Holds Spring Elections; Student Trustee, Sophomore Delegates Announced

The Lake Land College Student Government Association (SGA) recently held Spring elections for the 2026-2027 school year. Students who will be returning to Lake Land next school year were elected by their peers to serve as the official voice of the student body.
Agriculture Production & Management student Wyatt Draper, Hutsonville, was elected to serve as the Student Trustee for the 2026-2027 school year. In this role, Draper will serve as the official student representative on the Lake Land College Board of Trustees.

The following students were elected to serve as Sophomore Delegates for the 2026-2027 school year:

All members of the Lake Land College SGA are elected by the student body. Sophomores are elected in the Spring prior to their term, with a separate election held in the Fall for freshmen.
The Lake Land College SGA is responsible for representing student interests in campus life, College planning and institutional decision making. SGA members advocate for students in numerous ways by supporting campus initiatives, reviewing new club proposals and coordinating community service events such as blood drives, food pantry assistance and various other service activities. Meetings are open to all students.
