We have several options to help you experience Lake Land College in a virtual environment and connect with a recruiter to help you through the Admissions process.
We invite you to start exploring all that Lake Land College has to offer by attending a virtual Laker Visit Day. Connect with representatives from our various academic divisions, Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Life and other student services departments. You will also get the chance to hear from current Laker students!
We can answer your questions about campus, academic programs, resources and more!
Every year Madison marks something off her bucket list and learns a new skill like: learning how to crochet, running three miles, making cinnamon rolls from scratch, completing her master’s degree, learning how to shrill whistle, and many more. This year’s goal is to skydive!
Since moving back from the east coast, I pursued my Master’s in College Student Personnel Services and currently like in Flora IL with my husband Andrew. When I am not working, I enjoy being out on the lake either floating around or wakeboarding. We have two black labs that also love the water! When it is too cold to be out on the water you can find me either cooking or struggling to run long distances.
Students, parents, and everyone in-between, always feel free to reach out with any questions you may have about Lake Land College! I always tell students I may not always have the answer, but I can put you in contact with someone who does! We look forward to helping you and GO LAKERS!

Kim previously worked as the Intensive English Language instructor at Lake Land College. Before that, she worked with the Oral English Proficiency Program at Purdue University. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Masters of Arts in Literature from Eastern Illinois University. Kim has a passion for working with international students and second language learners, and prides herself on being accessible to students, whether they are potential students or those who already attend Lake Land College.
As expected, Kim has travelled to many countries in the world, which has fostered a love for a variety of cultures. She lives in a rural area with many cats, a dog, and her son, who she is trying to teach to use chopsticks.
