Offer Advice

• Contact faculty in your division with ideas you have to improve academic programs; offer to guest lecture; or let them know that they are doing a good job.
• When asked for your opinion through surveys or other means – please respond.

Offer Service

• Volunteer for committees, boards, events or divisions.
• Mentor students, hire interns.
• Alert us to potential supporters

Show Your Laker Pride

• When information for a publication is written about you, include being a Lake Land College alumnus.
• Buy and wear your Laker gear proudly
• Attend Lake Land College events, athletic games and activities.
• Consider adding the Lake Land College Support Logo to your communications.
• Be an advocate for Lake Land College in your community.
• Support the Lake Land College Alumni Association by attending and participating in its activities.

Make a Gift

• Become a donor to the Lake Land College Foundation by making an annual gift, creating a scholarship, or creating an endowment that will ensure that Lake Land College students receive the same quality education that you had. Here are some ways you can help:
• Create an endowed scholarship or fund with a minimum gift of $10,000 down and $10,000 payable over five years, or make annual gifts to fund the award with the endowment funded through your estate plan.
• Create an annual scholarship or fund with a minimum gift of $500.
• Contact your human resource department at your company and see if it is a Lake Land College matching gift company.
